      blind用作表语时,其主语只能是人,不能是eye。

      他对自己的缺陷视而不见。

      He is blind of his own defects.

      He is blind to his own defects.

      在be blind, turn a blind eye 等之后都接to,表示“对…视而不见”。

      盲人是我的叔父。

      那盲人是我的叔父。

      the blind在一定上下文中也可指单个人,这时谓语动词是单数形式,此处的blind是名词。而在表示“一类人”的the blindblind是形容词。
