1.raise 含有使物体达到应有的高度的含义,可表示“升职”。

2.elevate多是素质等方面提高。例如:

The good news elevated everyone's spirits.这个好消息鼓舞了每个人的精神。

3.而lift强调物体的沉重,暗示举起来需要很大力量。通常只用于指克服重力“提升”某一具体事物。例如:

lift语气比raise强，指用体力或机械的力举起或抬起某物。
